Kindergartener Writes His Own Success: Whiz Kid

Know a great kid who made Eagle Scout? Or did your local soccer team take the championship? They might be our next Patch Whiz Kid.

Each week, Frankfort Patch will seek suggestions from readers for individual kids, youth groups, teens, and even sports teams that wow us with their accomplishments. We want to hear about these amazing children and teens and select one each week as the Patch Whiz Kid.

Whiz Kid's Name and Age: Sean Kane, 6. He is in kindergarten.

Whiz Kid's School: 

Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Each year, school kids in the state create their own stories and illustrate them as part of the Young Authors program. Sean is the Young Authors winner for Rogus Kindergarten, and he will receive a bound copy of his book, The Big Race. 

Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: In his free time, Sean plays foosball, air hockey and table basketball with his two younger brothers. He's an avid reader and enjoys playing tag on the playground with his school friends.
