'Frankfort Pete' Treated to Warm Welcome Home

The winner of Jimmy Fallon's "Fingers on a 4x4" contest was the center of attention Wednesday in Frankfort.

Currie Motors Ford salesman Pete Porzio has had quite a month.

Last week the Tinley Park resident was flown to New York, held out 38 hours and 52 minutes with his hand on a Ford F150 for a chance to sell Jimmy Fallon a truck, then appeared on The Tonight Show. Now he's back, and Frankfort gave him the celebrity treatment.

Friends, family and fans stopped into Currie Motors Wednesday for a chance to shake the hand that touched the truck, and meet the guy who met Jimmy Fallon. Mayor Jim Holland handed over the key to the village, and Porzio celebrated with the bunch.
