Frankfort Forecast Calls For Heavy Snow to Stop Thursday Morning

The National Weather Service Predicted a five-inch accumulation before the snow finally stops.

The snow should have stopped by now, according to the National Weather Service.

The New Year's Day snowfall was supposed to drop five inches on Frankfort before ending about 6 a.m. Tuesday

That was actually the good news. The bad news is the temperature will likely fall to 11 degrees by 5 p.m. with a wind chill value of -4 degrees. And by Sunday, the National Weather Service is predicting a low of -5 degrees and a high of -3.

The next day is forecasted to be colder still at -16 degrees.
