The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for parts of northeast Illinois, including Will and Cook counties until 7 a.m. Monday, May 7. Slow-moving thunderstorms across the area Sunday could lead to rainfall totals between 1 to 3 inches, according to NWS. This could lead to creeks and streams to overflow.
