Deadline Looms for Rib Cook-off Registration
Contestants must turn in applications today for early registration for the Frankfort Amateur Rib Cook-off in August. Final deadline is July 22.
Today is the last day for early registration for the Frankfort Amateur Rib Cook-off on Aug. 6 at .
Participants can dowloand an application at the Frankfort village website and retun it at the , 432 W. Nebraska Ave. Registration fee is $50 if turned in today, and $75 if tunred in July 1-22. Checks should be made payable to Frankfort Area Jaycess.
Contestants must cook on site, comply with health department requirements and bring their own cooking equipment and supplies; Jaycees will provide meat for the event (10 slabs of baby back ribs per contestant), as well as assign cooking space to the contestants. Set up time will be 6-9 a.m.
