60-Minute Triathlon to Fight Domestic Violence

Proceeds from an upcoming indoor triathlon will go toward the Crisis Center for South Suburbia.

Frankfort residents can complete a triathlon in only one hour this weekend at the Indoor Triathlon for Crisis Center for South Suburbia, according to event organizer Mark Moylan.

Local athletes of all skill levels are invited to Lincoln-Way North High School for the 60-minute race. Competitors will participate in a 15-minute swim, 15-minute bike ride and a 15-minute run all inside L-W North.

Placement is measured by distance covered in a race against the clock and allows competitors to set their own pace.

Registration costs $30. All proceeds will go to benefit victims of domestic violence.
