Tired of Achy Bones? Learn What May Give You Relief

Silver Cross Hospital is offering a lecture series titled Aches & Pains on determining when to seek help, and eliminating soreness in various areas of the body that will educate area residents on how to do so. All participants will receive a GIFT BAG which includes a complimentary joint and back screening performed by a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician from the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago at Silver Cross, and other items to help you stay active. Hip Pain

May 6, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Experiencing hip pain and stiffness? Dr. Bradley Dworsky, orthopedic surgeon, will share information on the latest treatment options including arthroscopy and joint preservation.


Leg & Back Pain

May 13, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Lumbar spinal stenosis is a common spinal problem associated with leg and back pain in people over age 50. Dr. Thomas Hurley, neurosurgeon, will discuss new non-surgical and minimally invasive treatments available to treat this condition.


Shoulder Pain
