FS Lightweight Teal Football

Sunday October 20th the Frankfort Square Wildcats Lightweight Teal hosted the Lansing Lions for their final regular season home game. Led by Jason Guch, Tyler Safarik, Ryan Draftke, Victor Vargas, Reed Palmer. Zach Juarez, and Ryan Ritter, the defense took off right where it left off and posted its second straight shutout off the season.

Special teams were equally impressive registering a blocked punt, two kickoff recoveries, and tons of return yards. The offense led by Ryan Ritter was hitting on all cylinders. Offensive lineman Zach Brother, Ryan Gibbons, Devon Walles. and Mitchell Bouse opened some huge holes and Ritter connected with Safarik for another long touchdown pass. The Wildcats offense had its best showing of the season racking up 25 unanswered points.

The team feels confident heading into its first playoff game on Tuesday evening after recording back to back shutout victories to end the regular season.
