Dancing Marlin Restaurant Launches New Seasonally Inspired Mid-Summer Menu and Inaugural Monthly Chef's Dinner

Dancing Marlin (20590 S. Lagrange Rd.), an American sharing plates concept, launches its new, seasonally inspired Mid-Summer menu, now available, and announces its monthly Chef’s Dinner series beginning on August 20, 2014.

Mid-Summer Menu

Dine at Dancing Marlin for fresh seafood and Summer flavors created with seasonality in mind. Newly added spectacular specials include: Ceviche Jar, sea scallop, cilantro, tomatillos, red onion, smoked corn, chili oil, and fresh lime foam, $13; Octopus Ala Plancha, tender baby octopus, fennel sofritto, saffron potatoes, orange zest, chimichurri sauce, $14; Paella, Spanish rice, saffron, chorizo sausage, chicken thigh, shrimp, $17;

Pastrami Tacos, house-cured short rib pastrami, smoked provolone, bread & butter pickles, and beef mustard, $9; Mo-rocca Sliders, house-made Moroccan lamb & beef sausage, cucumber, apricot & preserved lemon jam, $9; Summer Corn, smoked butter & salt, paprika, lime crème fraiche, $5; Roasted Bone Marrow, sea salt, crostini, smith & hook cabernet short rib & onion jam, $13; The Fig & The Pig, house bacon rolled & stuffed with Italian sausage, figs, fennel, honey & goat cheese, $10. 

Of course you can’t dine without a dessert, Dancing Marlin Restaurant introduces two new delectable desserts on the Summer menu: Turtle Cheesecake Bites, caramel, chocolate, pecans, cream cheese, $7; Chocolate Shooter, two adorable cups of chocolate mousse, torched meringue, $7. These sweet endings are sure to be palate pleasers for all patrons.

Monthly Chef’s Dinner

Try something new every month with Dancing Marlin’s new seasonally inspired, chef driven dinner series beginning on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 6:30 P.M.,

The six-course Chef’s Dinner highlights a rotating menu, skillfully paired with a harmonizing glass of wine, beer, or handcrafted cocktail for $75 per person. Take an island adventure during the first Chef’s Dinner, “Taste of Hawaii”, featuring fresh catch flown in direct from the Aloha state. Sample “Taste of Hawaii” courses may include Hawaiian Sashimi Crudo, Kauai Prawn Salad, fresh Ono, Hawaii Kai Style Beef Short Ribs, Miso Butterfish, and Chocolate Soufflé.

This special event features an exclusive dining opportunity at the Dancing Marlin Kitchen Table for a limited number of guests. Dancing Marlin’s culinary leaders will be right alongside patrons to provide an interactive course-by-course description of featured menu items for an exclusive, edible experience.
