A Thanksgiving dinner collection drive is being held at Aura Bella Salon & Day Spa (http://aurabellasalon.com),located at 19081 Old Lagrange Road in Mokena until Saturday November 10, 2012. Aura Bella is offering a free shampoo, cut, and blow-dry to anyone who helps a family in need for Thanksgiving.

Customers have one of two ways that they can qualify for the free haircut. Their first option is to bring in and donate a coupon or voucher from a local grocery or food store for a free frozen turkey. The second choice would be to bring in all of the following items: one box of stuffing, one can of turkey gravy, one box macaroni and cheese, one box of corn bread/biscuit mix, one box of instant mashed potatoes, one can of cranberry sauce, one box of cake mix, one can of frosting, two cans of green beans, two cans of corn, and two cans sweet potatoes. You must include every item in the list, and food must not be past due or expired.

Food will be distributed to families in the Lincoln-Way area through Every Family Helped http://everyfamilyhelped.org), a newly formed not for profit that focuses on food baskets, while offering support, friendship, networking and leadership in the areas of
self-sufficiency, health, wellness, finance & spiritual growth.
