DESCRIPTION:The members of the Young Professionals of Southwest Community
  Services (SCS) are proud to announce their inaugural karaoke contest &l
 squo\;Singing for SCS&rdquo\;. This event is scheduled for August 10 at 
 Tinley Bowl\, 7601 W. 183rd. Street in Tinley Park and will take place i
 n their beer garden\, making it the first outdoor karaoke contest of its
  kind! (Weather permitting)\nWe are looking for 40 of the best singers f
 rom around the area\, hand-picked by our members\, compete for 1st throu
 gh 10th place. No singer will sing the same song\, so we look to have 40
  great performances of 40 of your favorite songs! And you get to pick th
 e winners!\nProceeds from this event will provide social and entertainme
 nt activities to the consumers of Southwest Community Services and the c
 hildren from Southwest Therapy and Rehabilitation Center (STARS)\, a pro
 gram of SCS located in Mokena. Activities include the Spring Fling dance
 \, bowling and pizza party\, and Halloween Hip Hop. Our goal is to raise
  money for more community integration activities.\nFOR THE AUDIENCE:\nCo
 st: $5 a person. 21 and older only. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Sorry
 \, no outside food/drinks allowed.\nDoors open at 6pm\, contest starts a
 t 7pm.\nFood will be available for purchase from Tinley Bowl: Choices in
 clude over 15 different appetizers\, burgers\, hot dogs\, chicken sandwi
 ches\, grilled cheese\, and 10 inch to 18 inch pizzas.\nThe first 300 gu
 ests will receive a program booklet and a voting ballot.\nCONTESTANTS:\n
 Cost to compete is $20 a person. To be considered as a contestant you ma
 y email the link to You Tube (or other online source) of your performanc
 e or you can send a video file to chevycounty13@yahoo.com. You may also 
 audition at a local karaoke night by calling Tim at (708) 244-3906 for a
  location and time. All contestants will be selected at the discretion o
 f The Young Professionals of Southwest Community Services.\n1st Prize: $
 300\n2nd Prize: $200\n3rd Prize: $100\n4th thru 10th place will receive
