Golfers are invited to Park Lawn’s 27^th Annual “A Day In The Sun” Invitational Golf Tournament on July 16.  This year’s tournament will be played at Prestwick Country Club in Frankfort.  Throughout the past 26 years, “A Day in the Sun” has raised more than $500,000 towards Park Lawn’s endowment, a fund established to ensure the future success of the organization. 

Registration begins at 10:30 am followed by a grilled lunch on the patio at 11:00.  The shot gun start will begin at 12:15 pm.  Throughout the day each golfer will experience 18 challenging and picturesque holes of golf with cart and caddy, cocktail reception, dinner, and awards.  

A Golf Invitational Raffle is also available for golfers and non-golfers. The grand prize is $2,000, 2nd prize$1,000 and 3rd is $500 plus additional prizes. The drawing will be held at the golf outing on July 20^th. Tickets are being sold at $50 each. 

Park Lawn’s “A Day in the Sun” golf outing is sponsored by Topline Automotive Engineering, Inc. of Chicago.  Additional sponsors include The Lombard Company, Laurus Strategies, Maury Barger in honor of Theresa Barger, Harris Bank, Mobility Works, Patti Eylar and Charlie Gardner, and Chase Bank.  Sponsorship opportunities are still available for Park Lawn’s golf outing that secures the future programs for hundreds of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
