New Lenox Boy Scout Troop 49 is holding its annual pancake breakfast and bake sale fundraiser on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 7:30 a.m. to Noon at the New Lenox VFW, Post 9545, located at 323 Old Hickory Road in New Lenox. All you care to eat pancakes, sausage, eggs and beverages served at your table by the scouts. Cost is $6.00 for adults, $5.00 for kids under 12 & seniors, and free for kids 6 and under. More About Veterans of Foreign Wars
The VFW Harry E. Anderson Post was established in July of 1947. It is comitted to honoring the dead, while serving the living through community involvement. This VFW post hosts weekly fish fries, dollar beer nights, karaoke, bingo and ladies auxiliary meetings.
