Have a Heart for Connor is a benefit to raise money for Connor Gill. Connor is a Summit Hill/Lincoln-way North Alumni who is in desperate need of a new motorized wheelchair. The cost of a chair is $38,000. Connor's chair is his livelihood. Unfortunately, Connor's chair is not working and he has been without a chair for over 10 weeks. Our entire community miss seeing Connor travel the neighborhood. Everyone knows Connor! Whether they know him personally or not, he is well known in our community, and an inspiration to all of us. With the help of Friends, the Frankfort Jaycees, and the Frankfort Lions club, we intent on raising $38,000 for Connor on Jan 27th. We will be hosting a talent show/vendor show as well as having raffles, silent auction, 50/50 and much more. There will be something for every age. The cost to get in is $5.00. We will have concessions as well, so bring your appetites! We hope everyone spreads the word about Have a Heart for Connor!
We already have had so many generous donations from the community. We sold tickets this weekend at Dominicks, and raised over $1000. To donate to Connor, you can contact the Frankfort Lions club.
