Saturday, May 5th, Free Comic Book Day returns to the Frankfort Amazing Fantasy, 20523 S. LaGrange Road, starting at 11 a.m.!
Tons of FREE comics available all day long with no purchase necessary. Some of the titles that will be available that day (limited quantities available, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment) include:

In addition, the Frankfort Amazing Fantasy will be hosting two creator signings from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Ryan Browne will be on hand signing and doing some free quick sketches! Ryan is the artist on the brand new IDW series Smoke and Mirrors, as well as creating his own critically acclaimed series God Hates Astronauts.
Jenny Frison will be on hand signing and doing some free quick sketches! Jenny is a prolific cover artist including work for Dark Horse, DC, and IDW. Some of the titles that she has graced with her beautiful work: Angel, I, Vampire , Cry Wolf, Hack/Slash, The Occultist, and Spike.
Also from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Frankfort store will have a few members of the 501st Legion on hand to pose for pictures with the kids., including a few Stormtroopers and Darth Vader! Be sure to bring your camera!

The Legion seeks to promote interest in Star Wars through the building and wearing of quality costumes, and to facilitate the use of these costumes for Star Wars-related events as well as contributions to the local community through costumed charity and volunteer work ..."

Located in Frankfort since 1991, this full-service comic shop is one of four stores that have been around since 1978. The store offers a full line of comics and graphic novels from publishers like Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Image, IDW, Oni, Moonstone, Archie, Avatar, and many more. This location also has the largest selection of manga anywhere in the area and has manga-/anime-related toys as well. The shop, located in the Vineyards Center strip mall, also has a great selection of board games, a full line of RPGs, CCGs, Heroclix, and other painted miniatures. There are even Sanrio gifts!
