CD & ME staff member Kathy Henke has never been more on board with the company philosphy of hosting fundraisers for community organizations and residents than she is today. In fact, while she never imagined she’d be a direct recipient of that compassion, Henke now knows firsthand the struggles a family faces when a member receives a life-shattering diagnosis. Henke’s brother-in-law, Tom Robinson, was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Thymoma Cancer, about the same time he lost his job.

Henke shared that her bosses, Dean Vaundry and Chuck JaBaay, have graciously allowed her family to run a fundraiser for her brother-in-law within the framework of the wildly popular 3-day ME Fest that starts Thursday, July 19, and runs through Saturday, July 21. The regular ME Fest cover charge is $7. Guests who wish to attend the Audiomatic/Libido Funk Circus concert on July 21 in conjunction with the Rockin' Out for the Robinsons fundraiser may opt to make a $20 ticket donation to the Tom Robinson Fund. All proceeds will go to Tom's medical fund.

Throughout the evening, the “Rockin’ Out for the Robinsons” team will also be sponsoring a variety of fun, interactive raffles, including a wheelbarrow filled with “Stock the Bar” supplies valued at over $200 and 2 tickets for the Bears-Green Bay game on December 16, 2012, which will be auctioned off live by "Staley Da Bear."
