Monkey Mind Art Studio and Gallery is looking for those with a heart for art to participate in its Prayer Flag Project. You do not have to be a professional artist to design a flag. All flags collected will be auctioned off at a reception at the gallery on November 1 at 7 p.m., the proceeds of which will benefit the Monkey Mind Art Studio scholarship fund.

To participate, stop in the studio between now and October 30 to pick up your blank flag. Decorate it in the studio or at home. Place a prayer on front or back for the receiver. Flag designs are limited only by your creativity. Our prayer is that a variety of media will be used and that these flags will be as unique as the people who create them. There is no materials charge for the blank flags.

Flags will be raffled off on November 1 at a reception with wine and snacks. Tickets for this event will cost $20 per entry, and each purchaser will receive a number to win a flag with a prayer just for them.
