Please come out to Monkey Mind Art Studio and Gallery on Friday, June 15, from 6-8 p.m. for the closing artist reception with Javier Chavira, whose show, "Strange and Beautiful" runs through the 15th. Javier will be on hand to meet and greet guests and discuss his work, which has been featured in the National Museum of Mexican Art and the Bank of America traveling exhibit "Miradas." Javier is also an associate professor of art at Governors State University and the winner of numerous professional awards.
