Fourth grade students at Indian Trail School in Frankfort are studying the Westward Expansion in Social Studies.  Recently, each classroom completed a project on Sacagawea, the Native American woman who assisted Lewis and Clark on their expedition to the west in the year 1804.  Students paired up to research and gather information on Sacagawea and they then compiled their information, including drawings and pictures, on posters to complete their project.
