Indian Trail Students Learn Fire Safety Tips

On October 17, two members of the Frankfort Fire Protection District provided valuable information and safety tips to the students of Frankfort Square School.  Students in grades 1 through 3 learned how to check if there is a fire on the opposite side of their bedroom door, what to do if their home is on fire, and how to get help.  The students watched a video that emphasized the importance of having a safe exit plan and a safe meeting place outside the home in the event there is a fire in the home.  Frankfort Square School is one of four elementary schools in Summit Hill School District 161.  Summit Hill School District 161 serves the communities of Frankfort, Mokena, and Tinley Park.
