Indian Trail students get creative in Writing Class

Fourth grade students at Indian Trail Elementary School spent some time coming up with other choice words for THANKS such as:  admiration, gratitude, recognition, thankfulness, gratefulness, respect, understanding, and family.  Continuing with their descriptive writing, which includes using an abundant amount of describing words, and incorporating all five senses, students were eager to write to their parents/guardians about giving thanks.  Students wrote about seeing their parents/guardians buy them what they need, smelling the aromas from the kitchen and tasting special dishes made especially for them, feeling the adoring hugs, but most of all hearing the words, “I love you.”   Fourth grade students also spent some time making their very own mosaic turkey for Thanksgiving!  Thank you to all our parents and guardians!
