A well-kept fundraising secret is about to be “let out of the bag” as Lincolnway Special Recreation Association prepares for its spring 2012 fundraiser
April 2012 – Frankfort, IL – When Tami Pareti was deciding upon a new and exciting fundraiser to offer this spring, she wanted to make sure that it would be something participants were happy to sell and something supporters were happy to buy. That may sound like an easy task, but for those who have been in the decision-making shoes, it’s not.
Too many times fundraising products are a disappointment for everyone, whether it is the quality of the product, the quality of the service or just not meeting the fundraiser goals.
For those who have had the chance to experience a Butter Braid pastry, its evident this fundraiser will be different. For those who have not, that chance is now! The sale began April 20 and will end May 18. Orders can be placed by calling Tami at 815-464-2811 or by visiting www.lwsra.org during the sale dates. Delivery will be on Wednesday, June 6 at the Lincolnway Special Recreation Association office, 21800 South LaGrange Road, Frankfort. Community support is very much needed and appreciated.
Butter Braid pastries are made with exquisite sweet dough that is hand-braided around mouthwatering fillings such as cinnamon, cream cheese and a variety of fruit fillings. The pastries come frozen allowing consumers to store until ready to prepare. Set out to thaw and rise, and then bake for an unforgettable experience.
Butter Braid brand products have been a pillar of quality in the fundraising industry for over 17 years with the mission of helping non-profit groups raise money for worthy causes. Visit the Butter Braid website www.butterbraid.com for more product and/or company details.

My son's school had these several years ago for a fund raiser & they were so delicious! Just a thought..... Is there any way that someone from your group/organization would be able to sell this fund raiser at the new Mokena Farmer's Market that is suppose to start this Saturday (tomorrow)? I think that it could be a hit there!

Hey Jill,
Because Butter Braids are pre-ordered and kept frozen until they can be thawed and cooked it would be hard to make a Farmer's Market this year, but we will keep it in our thoughts for the future.

I understand, Thomas. I guess what I was trying to say was to have someone out there to take the pre-orders. Sell it that way, not the finished product.
