Youth Programs:
Beginning Violin Workshop I
Saturday, January 19 – May 11(No Class March 30), 10:30 – 11:30 am, at the Founders Community Center learn to play the violin along with beginning music reading and writing skills. Students’ will progress rapidly utilizing proven methods and games establishing fundamental playing technique and natural tone production. All sheet music is provided including a method book and DVD. There is a one-time accessories package that will need to be purchased for $25. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate in all classes. A Violin will be provided to each student for the session to take home for practice. Age: 5 - 11

Beginning Violin Workshop II
Saturday, January 19 – May 11 (No Class March 30), 11:45 am – 12:45 pm, at the Founders Community Center violin students who have had previous instruction in violin progress though repertoire and technical studies aimed at developing sound production, finger technique, ear training, and music reading. Materials and exercises, including Suzuki methods and traditional repertoire included. Parents are welcome to attend and participate in all classes. A Violin will be provided to each student for the session to take home for practice. Age: 5 - 11

Around the World in 8 Weeks!
Monday, 6:00 – 7:00 pm, at the Founders Community Center come join us for a trip of a lifetime! Each week we will explore a different country by making a craft, playing games, enjoying activities and snacks. Some of our destinations include Australia, Brazil, Italy, China, Germany and Japan. If you sign up for both sessions, then you will have travelled around the world! Grab your passport, you don’t want to miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime! Ages: 4 - 9

Wednesday, Session I: January 23 – February 27, come learn Spanish in a relaxed, small-class environment! We are offering Spanish classes for toddlers through adults. All classes are taught at Founders Community Center and instructed by Language in Action, Inc.

Belly Babes
Saturday, January 19 – March 2 (No Class February 16), 10:00 - 10:45 am at the Founders Community Center in this is a class you'll learn basic belly dancing moves. Laugh and sweat while searching for those ever-elusive abdominals. There’ll be NO mirrors, no judgment and no peek-a-boo belly buttons in this class (unless you’re that brave). Feel the music, try a few moves in a “jingle scarf” (bring your own, or you can borrow or buy) and have a great time. Wear comfy clothes to let you wiggle and sweat, and don't forget the water bottle. Age: 14 & older Fee: $39/NR $44
New Year’s Resolution: Get Organized!
Thursday, January 17, 7:00-8:00 pm, at the Founders Community Center it’s time to get in gear for a new and improved organized you! It's a new year! We've all gotten into an organized kick where we've cleaned, purged, and re-organized our home, but then….it all seemed to go back to clutter within days! There is a fool proof organizing process that will solve these organizing frustrations! Get on board with some accountability and maintenance strategies to get your home organized and KEEP it organized!! Age: 18 & older Fee: $9/NR $14
