Youth Programs:

 

Young Rembrandts Elementary Drawing

Young Rembrandts’ acclaimed drawing method teaches children to break down complex objects into basic foundational shapes. Students will explore the elements of art such as shading, balance, line, volume, depth and color while completing one new drawing each week. Each session offers all new lessons. Parents will receive a curriculum summary each week, so that they are aware of the skills their children are mastering.

UGA Gymnastics Programs

Beginning January 30th the Frankfort Park District is offering a wide variety of gymnastics classes for ages 2 - 14 years.   United Gymnastics Academy is a place for all ages to learn the sport of gymnastics and tumbling. Through gymnastics, your child will increase his/her coordination, physical agility, self-confidence, listening skills, work ethic, and leadership. He or she will also learn to respect teachers and classmates. UGA provides a positive atmosphere with well-trained staff and the newest facility in the south suburbs of Chicago. Participants should wear comfortable clothing; t-shirt, athletic shorts/pants, or a leotard.  Girls should have their hair secured back.  Shoes are not allowed.  For a listing of classes and times visit us online at www.frankfortparks.org or call the Park District office at 815.469.9400

Adult Fitness Programs:

 

Therapeutic Fitness

This class is designed for those who have various physical challenges.  Ideal if you have restricted range of motion, require strengthening without the standard stress you may personally experience during traditional exercise classes.  Instructor will do an overview of what your strengths and challenges are, and will run this group program according to the needs of the individuals.  A great way to get fit and to feel better! This class is designed for those who are not able to currently participate in a standard exercise class.  Instructor utilizes fitness therapy during class.
