Known as the village with 1890s charm, Frankfort has woven that vintage thread of community spirit throughout its history. In Arcadia Publishing's new Images of America: Frankfort, Rachel will share with library listeners the quaintest and quirkiest bits of Frankfort's evolution from little town on the prairie to thriving small suburb of Chicago. Join her Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Frankfort Public Library where she'll also ponder a few Frankfort mysteries in history, as well as reveal a few photos that didn't make the book but are still timeless treasures.
Autographed copies of the book will be available for purchase. Click on the photo gallery for a sneak peek at the program!
PLEASE NOTE: Pfeiffer Road will be closed at Route 30 beginning Wednesday, November 7. Please access the library by coming north on Pfeiffer from Sauk Trail or Laraway Road.
