I wake up each morning, ready for the day,

My duties resolved, I have only one thing to say.

When will the coffee be ready, it's part of my routine,

That smell of fresh coffee with ground roasted beans.

The aroma is too tempting, please, I must have a sip,

But wait, I'm not at home, but rather, in my car on a trip.

A trip to my coffee haven, Dunkin' Donuts, my dream,

My order is quite simple, medium, easy cream.

So, now I feel better, this will last for some time,

My eyes are now wide open, I'm starting to feel fine.

If only life could be  this simple, each morning when we wake,

You can have your coffee and still eat your cake.
