Chili cook-off to benefit L-W North athletic programs
Help determine the winner of this year’s “People’s Choice” award at Lincoln-Way North High School’s 5th Annual Chili Cook-Off.
Sponsored by the school’s Athletic Boosters, the chili cook-off will pit one family recipe against another while raising money to support the school’s athletic programs.
Guests will be able to sample a variety of chili recipes from local contestants and vote on their favorite.
Tickets are $5 each and include 10 taste samples.
The Chili Cook-Off will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 27 in the Lincoln-Way North cafeteria, 19900 S. Harlem Ave., Frankfort.
Winners will be announced by 2:30 p.m. that day.
