Crete Man Faces DUI, Traffic Violations
David W. Weber, 32, of the 23900 block of South Loomis Street in Crete, was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use and speeding after a traffic stop near the intersection of Harlem Avenue and Sauk Trail Road. Weber's next court date is Sept. 7.
Teens Caught Drinking Downtown
Justin W. Green, 18, of the 19600 block of Arran Drive, and Steven W. Bowden, 18, of the 20000 block of South Spruce Drive, were charged with underage drinking for an incident in the 0-100 block of White Street. A 17-year-old boy from Tinley Park also was charged with underage drinking, and 16-year-old boy from Tinley Park was charged with curfew violation during the same incident.

Chicago Man Faces Traffic, Drug Charges
Anthony R. Cruz, 21, of the 500 block of West 42nd Place in Chicago, was cited for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of a police officer and failure to signal after a traffic stop near the intersection of Frankfort Square Road and Lincoln Highway. Cruz's next court date is Sept. 10.
Stop Leads to DUI Charge for New Lenox Man
Michael B. Ditschler, 28, of the 200 block of South Prairie Road in New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence and speeding after a traffic stop near the intersection of 80th Avenue and Lincoln Highway. Ditschler's next court date is Sept. 4.
THURSDAY, AUG. 2
Teen Cited for Drug Offenses
A 15-year-old Mokena boy was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident near the intersection of Folkers Drive and Old Frankfort Way.
