Mokena Animal Clinic - Dr. Ingmire... just had to put our dog to sleep there and his staff was wonderful. Dr. Ingmire was also great and it was obvious how much he cares about animals and their owners!

Dr. Wahl at Avenue Animal Hospital in Tinley Park. Genuinely caring and and gentle demeanor with my dog. When my dog was 8, she had a kidney stone that took up her entire left kidney, and he removed the kidney to save her life. Purdue Animal Hospital was going to charge many thousands of $ without a guarantee that my dog would survive. Dr. Wahl, under $400...the price of anesthesia and and overnight observation. Also, he told me up front that he had only performed this surgery once, on a cat.

My dog is now 14!

Forest South Animal Hospital has been great with my rather difficult dog, these last 10 years. I find these two animal hospitals the best in the southland.

Midway Veterinary clinic on 63rd & Kenneth or so, in the city. Dr. Munsayac is amazing. He truely loves the animals.

When we got Lucky Dog from PAWS back in the late 80's Country Hill Animal Hospital in Country Club Hills was their preferred veterinarian. They were always fantastic, kind and caring to both 2 legged and 4 legged customers . A few years ago, our son brought home a stray Bull Mastiff he and a friend found roaming loose in Indiana. The shelter there said they could keep him a week, then they'd have to put him down. My son was not about to let them kill George. George was a beautiful 78lb, 6 month old puppy! As much as we would have loved to keep him, with everyone at either school or work all day, and since he was a pup that still needed training and loved to chew while you were gone, we had no choice but to try and find a home for him. We figured it would be easier if he had a clean bill of health and all of his shots. Lucky Dog died in 1998, so it was over 10 years since we'd been to Country Hill. Called and made an appointment for George. The service was as excellent as ever and when we explained the situation, they only charged us a nominal fee. Once the grandson is a bit older (I can only deal with one chewing thing at time!), we'll be heading back to PAWS for a new puppy and then stick with Country Hill.

Bremen Animal Hospital by far is the best in the suburbs! They are one of a kind and treat both your furry family and human family with dignity and respect!

Orland Park Small Animal Clinic. I've have had several dogs over the past 35+ years and consider myself lucky that I found her. Even her staff was very compassionate and would take any call we made, espeically when our last dog had gotten cancer that couldn't be operated on. They were holding our hand through it all.

For anyone in the Oak Lawn, EP, Beverly areas (and surrounding spots), there is no finer vet than LePar Animal Clinic. Compassionate & logical, not to mention holistic. There is no other vet I would trust with out "babies".

Carey Animal Clinic - New Lenox We have taken all our pets to her since she came to town. Our Mr. Fluffy just loves her and looks forward to his visits with her. She has seen him through many rough times when we thought we would loose him as a pup and he is now 7 years old.

Carey Animal Clinic in New Lenox! Dr. Carey and Dr. Goodpasture are awesome! They are caring for our pets. They will go above and beyond for our pets and they are not about raking in the dough. Their main purpose is the best welfare of the pets. They give their immediate attention, never turn someone away and make the pet owner's aware of all issues. Dr. Carey will always give treatment for strays in need she doesn't expect anything in return. CAC is the most excellent vet clinic around!
