New Restaurants Receive Rave Reader Reviews
The Wild Rover and Smokey Barque both opened in the fall of 2011 and both have received five-star ratings from Patch readers. What would you rate them?
The past year has seen a tasty influx of new restaurants opening in Frankfort, from Stray Bar to Pizza Mia! to Papa John's Pizza.
Apparently, however, two of the newest eateries have really caught on with Frankfort Patch readers. The Wild Rover and Smokey Barque have received gushing reviews from Frankfort Patch readers. Here's what they've had to say.
PrettyAuntPatti on The Wild Rover:
Had dinner at Wild Rover a few nights ago and we were very pleasantly suprised. The stuffed green pepper soup was the perfect start on a chilly evening, the onion rings are fresh and NOT overly breaded, and the burger is what your momma made you as a kid. We definitely will be back!
Steven on Smokey Barque:
I moved from Texas quite a few years ago, and this place is a blast from the past. Authentic is right. Had a lot of good variety and tastes I hadn't tried before. Delish.
New restaurants aren't the only places getting love from readers lately. Two of Frankfort's old pros when it comes to pizza also earned praise.
Pizza doesn't get any better than this! In addition to fresh, homemade Italian food, the service is personal and friendly. Truly a family business. We are so fortunate to have such quality so close to home.
Dana on Parmesans Wood Stove Pizza:
Get the Pizza Cindy! It's the best along with anything else on the menu. I love this place!
GIVE YOUR FAVORITE PIZZA PLACE SOME LOVE!
