Winter on the Green: The village's annual seasonal series will hold pregame “Superbowl” activities, featuring Frankfort Elvis tribute artist Dave Thomas, as well as free hot dogs, grilled on Breidert Green as part of a new “tailgating” event. The Puppy Bowl also returns at 2 p.m., and residents can bring their canines--decked out in their favorite team apparel--to compete for trophies in various categories.
Yarns To Dye For & More: The fabric store's Facebook page pitch for its Super Bowl event is our favorite: "Are you ready for some football? No! Good, we don't have a TV in the store." The shop will have open knitting and crocheting from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks.
