Foundation Hosts Super Bowl Fundraiser

The Patrick Mizwicki Foundation will offer food and fun in the hours leading up to Sunday's big game.

This Super Bowl Sunday, Lincoln-Way residents can prepare for the big game and raise money for a good cause at the same time at the Patrick Mizwicki Foundation’s Super Bowl Sunday fundraiser.

The event, which will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday at CD & ME, will include a buffet from Aurelio’s, desserts by Sweet Dreams Cakes, raffles and games.

All money raised will go to fund scholarships for local students who exemplify sportsmanship, hard work and kindness. The foundation is named for the Lincoln-Way East High School freshman and student athlete who died after being struck by a car in 2011.
