Although the official start of Frankfort Fall Festival is a couple days off, the event's carnival, which is organized by the Frankfort Fire Protection District, opened its gates Wednesday, Aug. 29, with kids and adults queuing up to take a spin on the amusement rides.
If you're not an amusement ride aficionado, you might wonder if you have the proper constitution to take on the Tilt-A-Whirl or the Freak Out. That's why Patch editor Joe Vince took two of the carnival's rides—Pharaoh's Fury and Himalaya—for a test drive.
Watch the video to see if these rides are just your speed. And tell us in the comments section if you think Joe should try out the Tilt-A-Whirl and the Freak Out, as well.
