Crime Reports: A Roundup of Property Damage and Thefts

Frankfort Police and Will County Sheriff's Office reports, June 25-July 2 • Break-in at Sprint Wireless Store on Lincoln Highway • Joe's Tobacco and Cigar shop burglarized

 

SATURDAY, JUNE 30

Cell Phone Store Burglarized

Six cell phones and a variety of phone accessories were stolen from the Sprint Wireless Store, 7954 W. Lincoln Hwy. The front door glass of the store was shattered, the Will County Sheriff's Office report said, adding that a full inventory of the store was still needed to be done.

FRIDAY, JUNE 29

Mailboxes Vandalized

Two mailboxes were damaged in the 11800 block of Coquille Drive, according to Frankfort Police reports.

Items Taken From Unlocked Car

A variety of items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the 10900 block of Swallow Tail Lane.

GPS Taken From Unlocked Car

A GPS unit was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 20000 block of South Frankfort Square Road.

THURSDAY, JUNE 28

Cigar Store Burglarized

Cartons of cigarettes, cigars, rolling papers and a laptop were stolen from Joe's Tobacco and Cigar, 7705 W. St. Francis Road. Will County sheriff's investigators were reviewing video surveillance was being reviewed.

Construction Tool Stolen

A gas-powered concrete saw was stolen from an attached garage in the 20000 block of South Acorn Ridge Drive.

Neighborhood Sign Damaged

A subdivision sign near the intersection of Flagstone Turn and Scheer Road was damaged.
