Standard Bank Presents Check to Muscular Dystrophy Association

The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) has received a $17,811 donation from Standard Bank & Trust Company that will help MDA to fund research to cure muscular dystrophy, ALS andrelated diseases.

“The generosity of Standard Bank customers and their contributions will play an essential role in funding vital research, as well as providing much-needed services to area families coping with the effects of any of 43 neuromuscular diseases.” said Anna Fratto, Executive Director, MDA. “The Muscular Dystrophy Association funds local clinics, support groups, assistance with the repair of wheelchairs and leg braces, and summer camp. On behalf of hundreds of Northern Illinois individuals and families who are counting on us, thank you for your heartfelt efforts and continued support in the fight against muscular dystrophy."
